Colegio Madre Teresa provides free, full-day education to children and teenagers growing up in extreme poverty in Virreyes, Argentina - from their first day of preschool to the day they graduate, thirteen years later. Here's how you can support that journey from wherever you are.

Your donation crosses borders. So does its impact.

Breaking the cycle of poverty, one full school day at a time.

We work with the most vulnerable children, teenagers, and their families, walking alongside them so they can build a life project of their own. Every student receives quality education, 3 daily meals, and social, medical, and psychological support - at no cost to their families, for thirteen consecutive years.

Why trust us

A school built and supported by its community since 2003.

Colegio Madre Teresa was founded after Fr. Juan Pablo Jasminoy met Mother Teresa of Calcutta in 1994, inspired to bring quality education to “the poorest of the poor.” What began in 2003 with 180 students in Virreyes has grown into a full educational and social program for the community — and in 2025 was a finalist for the World's Best School Prizes, in the category Overcoming Adversity.
